The Global Video Game Coalition (the “GVGC”) respects the privacy rights of visitors to thegvgcstg.wpengine.com (the “Website”) and recognizes the importance of protecting any information that you may choose to share with us.  We have adopted this GVGC Website Privacy Policy (“Policy”) to explain how we collect, store, and use information collected on this website or that you provide to us directly.  The Entertainment Software Association (the “ESA”), a GVCC member, serves as the technical administrator for this Website.

We collect information from our online visitors to enable us to provide information about our mission, events, advocacy, and other activities. This includes information we collect automatically through technology about your use of the Website, such as your IP address. This also includes any information you choose to provide us directly when contacting us via e-mail or through other means, such as your name, organizational affiliation, job title, e-mail address, business mailing address, or telephone number.

We may share your information with the members of the GVGC listed on the Website.

The ESA, based in the United States, is the administrator of the Website. Accordingly, we may store and process information in the U.S., which may not provide the same level of protection as the jurisdiction in which you reside.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16.  We take kids’ privacy seriously, and we encourage parents to play an active role in their children’s online experience at all times.  If parents believe that we have unintentionally collected their child’s personal information, they should contact us at [email protected] to request the deletion of the information.
